Why Churrasco?
In Brazil, churrasco is the term for a barbecue (similar to the Argentine and Uruguayan asado) which originated in southern Brazil. It uses a variety of meats which are cooked on a special grill called a “churrasqueira”.
It is very common to host parties or simply gather family and friends as an excuse for a type of grilled steak called picanha. However, Brazilian barbecue goes very well with any event such as weddings or birthdays, so plan a Brazilian barbecue and enjoy time with friends and family.

Where It All Began
We want to introduce ourselves. I am Cristiana Eduardo and my husband is Paulo Eduardo. I’m from Brazil and Paulo is from Angola. We’ve been in Maine since February 2022. I studied nutrition, business administration and gastronomy. In Brazil, we already had a love for Brazilian cuisine, specifically the Brazilian barbecue known throughout the world. We want to share the flavors of our countries with the wonderful people of Maine!
